Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 29, 2026

ReType SQL is an open source tool designed with privacy as a fundamental principle. This policy describes how data is handled.

1. No Data Collection

ReType SQL does not collect, store, or transmit personal information. There is no backend server and no database.

2. Local Storage

Data stays on the device:

All learning progress (completed lessons, query history, and settings) is stored exclusively in the browser's localStorage. This data never leaves the user's device.

3. No Accounts

There is no sign-up or login functionality. No email addresses or passwords are processed or stored.

4. No Third-Party Trackers

This website does not use tracking cookies, analytics services (like Google Analytics), or advertising pixels.

5. Open Source Transparency

The entire source code is available on GitHub. Users can inspect the code to verify that no data is being collected or transmitted.

6. Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally, clearing the browser's cache or local storage will permanently delete all progress. This action is entirely under the user's control.
